Aus der Satzung vom 11.04.1997
Der Verein trägt den Namen „Sommerschule Wust e.V.“.
Er hat seinen Sitz in 39524 Wust.
Der Verein ist international.
Er ermöglicht die internationale Begegnung, vermittelt fremde Kulturen an Deutsche und deutsche Kultur an Ausländer.
Er pflegt und fördert deutsche Kultur und Geschichte. Seine Aktivitäten sind regional und überregional.
Der Verein arbeitet zusammen mit in- und ausländischen Ausbildungs- und Kulturstätten.
Er führt die „Sommerschule Wust für englische Sprache, Literatur, Theater und Musik“ durch.
Er fördert die Bildung und Ausbildung begabter junger Menschen und die Fortbildung Erwachsener.
Der Verein widmet sich der kulturellen Belebung de Region zwischen Havel und Elbe, des Westhavellandes und der Altmark.
Durch vielfältige Kulturveranstaltungen setzt er sich vor allem ideell für den Erhalt der Dorfkirchen des
Elb-Havel-Winkels ein.
Er pflegt das geistige Erbe Fontanes und trägt ideell zur Wiederherstellung und Erhaltung der historischen
Denkmale in Wust bei.
Er unterstützt junge Autoren, Musiker und bildende Künstler, die sich in der Gegend für den Vereinszweck engagieren.
Der Verein ist überparteilich und überkonfessionell.
Er verfolgt selbstlos, ausschließlich und unmittelbar gemeinnützige Zwecke.

From the “Sommerschule Wust e.V.” Statutes
The statutes are dated from 11.04.1997.
The association carries the name “Sommerschule Wust e.V.”
It is based in 39524 Wust.
The Summer School is international.
It enables international contact and cultural exchanges between Germany and other countries.
Furthermore it aims to support and preserve German culture and history. Its activities are spread regionally
and further afield.
The organisation works in association with educational and cultural institutions both in Germany and abroad.
It contributes to the education and development of talented young people and the further education for adults.
The association aims to assist the revival of the area between the Havel and the Elbe rivers, the Westhavelland
(the district west of the river Havel) and the Altmark region.
With numerous cultural events it aids the preservation of the rural churches in the Elbe-Havel-district.
In addition it fosters the intellectual heritage of Theodor Fontane (German writer, 1819-1898) and contributes to
the restoration and maintenance of the historical monuments in Wust.
The Summer School supports young authors, musicians and artists who are active in the region with the same aims as
the association.
It is apolitical and non-denominational.
The association selflessly, exclusively and purposefully pursues charitable goals.
